School of Radiologic Technology

The Blessing Hospital School of Radiologic Technology program is a 24-month course of study including academic and clinical education.

Applicants for admission to the School of Radiologic Technology are judged using a point system. Items considered in assigning points to an applicant are ACT scores, high school and college grade point averages, course selection and grades and class rank. High school students should pursue a college preparatory curriculum with special emphasis in math and science. College courses and work experience will be individually evaluated.

To apply, submit a completed application form, high school/college transcripts and three letters of reference from former instructors or employers. Applications are due by January 1 of each year, but selections for admission are made for the class starting in July of the next calendar year. This allows students time to complete the required prerequisite courses. We reserve the right to fill classes before the application deadline.

School graduates are eligible to apply to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technology national examination. The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology accredits the Blessing Hospital School of Radiologic Technology.
