It's Time to Heal
Being healthy and active are two of life's greatest pleasures. For people who have wounds that won't heal - because of diabetes or other health conditions - sometimes life can lose its enjoyment because of pain, fear and reduced ability to get around.

But there is good news. Effective treatments can help heal wounds and that is what Blessing's Wound Center is all about. Our team of wound care specialists, doctors, nurses, therapists and other medical professionals use the latest and most advanced treatments to help heal wounds.

Because there are many medical conditions that cause non-healing wounds, we perform a series of diagnostic tests to determine the cause of the wound. Once a cause is clearly identified, we work with the patient's own doctor to develop a wound treatment plan. Using a team approach involving the patient, his or her physician and the Wound Care staff, the treatment and recovery process can begin. 

Many health plans cover wound care treatment and a doctor's referral is not necessary. The Wound Center, located on the third floor of the Blessing Health Center at 927 Broadway, is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
